Composite hollow macrospheres are made of epoxy-based, fiber-reinforced composite materials. They have high specific strength and stiffness, which allow them to find wide applications in offshore buoyancy & artificial lift solutions. CBM produces various grades of composite hollow macrospheres ranged in material composition and size. The application of macrospheres in water depth ranges from 500 to 4000 meters of sea water, with an effective true density from 150 to 500 kg/m3. Custom formulations and unique application features are also available upon request. |
